Blower Door Test?? LEED

The blower door test is a Home performance test, and something that differentiates the LEED rating system from others. Basically, you create a vacuum in the house and see how much air leaks out. So even though many techniques may have been intended to tighten the building envelope, this is the only way to know the actual performance. This is a picture of the blower door in action at the townhome unit “B”, every unit is tested by 3rd party raters.
