SIP house framing

The Madison Valley SIP house is under construction, finally. Nice thing about SIPs is they are manufactured off-site, so framing is faster with less waste. The first level was framed in a day, and the next day the joists are going in for the second floor.

It’s a foam sandwich, here’s a picture of one:
It’s like 2 sheets of plywood with urethane foam injected between, so it’s solid, and insulated. Insulated and constructed like a cooler. There’s no thermal bridging, just solid insulation between the sheathing. Thermal bridging refers to the studs in typical wall construction that interrupt the insulation inside those walls.
Even the beams and headers are insulated, looking like an Oreo cookie:
